The year 2008 was really Tina Fey’s year. She became TV’s new golden girl when she won three Emmy awards for her work on "30 Rock," her wicked take on the inner workings of a late-night TV show on NBC. Fey was selected by Barbara Walters as one of America's "10 most fascinating people of 2008". In addition to skyrocketing fame for her scathing impersonations of U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, she won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series in 2009. Is it all too fantastic for a 38 year-old girl? Let’s see what Chinese Astrology has to say about her life.
Fey was born May 18, 1970. Her primary personality traits are represented by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal sign, the Metal Dog. According to Chinese Astrology, in Fey’s early years things were often likely to go her way, but Dog-sign people tend to take a half-empty view of things, and she may not have seen it that way. Thus, even if her childhood was generally happy, she is likely to have experienced increasing anxiety as she began to more fully experience the world around her. In mid-life, a Dog sign like Fey has a penchant for nostalgia. She may often look back longingly on the “good old days” of the past, which could make her vulnerable to mid-life crisis.
When Fey was five years old and was playing in the front yard of her home, a stranger approached her and violently slashed her cheek with a knife. She has overcome the trauma and grew up a confident person, but, of the facial scar she has said, “It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I [see it] on-camera.” That fact is still in her mind so deeply that she worries the experience may one day affect her role as a mother to daughter Alice, 3, particularly when Alice gets to be the same age as Fey when she was attacked.
Adulthood is a very strong chi (energy) period for Fey and she has been presented with wonderful opportunities for success in both her professional and home life. This is the time she can attain her greatest achievements and build a solid foundation for her years to come. Here is the advice of Chinese Astrology for her: Fey should try not to let her mind wander back over the past any more and focus instead on her present career and family. Chinese Astrology hopes she will truly overcome and move beyond any bad or lingering memories that could hold her back in the present.
