Chinese Zodiac Analysis for Adele, Best New Artist at 2009 Grammy Awards

With a musical style that has been described as “heartbroken soul,” 20-year-old British singer Adele has just won the 2009 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She also scored an additional Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Adele will return to the U.S. for a nine-city tour kicking off March 9 in San Diego, California at the House of Blues. Her first U.S. tour will conclude March 21 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio (see full itinerary below). Adele is slated to headline at the Roseland Ballroom in New York on May 5 in celebration of her 21st birthday, and is also set to headline a very special evening at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 28.

Born May 5, 1988, Adele’s primary personality traits are ruled by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal sign, Earth Dragon. The Earth Dragon may be less flamboyant than other Dragons, but their practicality more than makes up for this possible shortcoming. She may not be selected for the Chinese New Year dragon dance, but she will do better than others at accomplishing the stuff of her dreams. With her heightened sense of responsibility, she often wins more respect than other Dragons who are sometimes accused of being show offs, or all talk and no action.

Adele’s secondary personality traits are ruled by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal signs the Fire Dragon and the Metal Monkey. The Fire element heightens the karmic effect common to all Dragons; her successes will be awesome and even her flameouts spectacular. The Metal Monkey is the strongest, most rigid of the bunch. This combination can be very powerful for Adele, as her Monkey creativity is harnessed into the solid structure of Metal. She prefers to work independently rather than as a cog in a corporate wheel.

With her unique personality, Chinese Astrology hopes that in 2009 Adele will continue to display her range and abilities that make hers one of the most stirring voices pop music has seen in a very long time.
